Grooming is the most important in the hospitality industry. Where ever you will go, for example, in the Travel and Tourism industry, the Aviation industry, or the Cruise and Hotel industry the grooming top priority.

Being a Hotelier, I want to share the importance of grooming standards. So now discuss what the grooming standards follow in tourist Hotels.

1. Hire Style:

If you work in a 5-star hotel, so your hair should be cut trim. This means your hair should be trimmed and your front hair shouldn’t be touched eyebrows and your back hair should not touch your collar. So the main reason for trimming hair is personal hygiene.

Suppose you work in a kitchen, and if your hairs are long, so the chances of hair falling into the food. And after that, these foods will be served to the guest, and if the guests found a single hair in the food, so it’s a major complaint or a food issue. So if you are a hotelier then you must maintain trimmed hair.

2. Nails:

Your nails should be cut and trimmed for the same reason. If your nails are long, then it’s also a sign of a bad personality. So always maintain trim nails.

3. Polished Shoes:

Always maintain clean and well-polished shoes. Suppose if you use dirty shoes, so it’s very bad or it impacts very badly and negatively. And it’s not good for personal hygiene. So always maintain clean and well-polished shoes.

4. Hands should be Washed: 

In the hospitality sector, always wash or sanitize your hands properly with an alcohol-based sanitizer. Because the hospitality industry is a service industry, so we always provide service to the guests. So if you work in the hospitality industry, you have to maintain your clean hand.

5. Use of Light fragrance:

In hospitality industry we are in contact with many kind of people. We must always use light perfume of sweet smell.
